During our media lesson today we collected some ideas for our two minutes film opening. The main thing we focused on was the genre. After having had a discussion about the genre of spoofs, we came to the conclusion that spoofs might be a too difficult thing to do as we would need a lot of equipment which we can't afford. For that reason we decided not to do a costume drama either because it would require quite a big amount of probs which we don't have.
At the end of the lesson, everyone agreed with the idea of doing some sort of teen drama. To get an idea of this particular genre, we researched some famous teen dramas on youtube and found "Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging" which deals with typical teen problems such as boys, parents and parties.
